STEPHANIE SAPORITO
Stephanie Saporito founded Poloma Public Affairs after serving a variety of roles in both local government and private industry for over 10 years. With considerable experience in both the private and public sectors, Stephanie has the distinctive background of working at high levels of both the City of Los Angeles and the County of Los Angeles.
Prior to founding Poloma, Stephanie was a Partner at Blackman & Associates, a leading government and public affairs firm in Los Angeles. Before moving to the private sector, she served as Senior Adviser for Los Angeles City Council District 12 and Los Angeles City Council President Pro Tempore where she managed media relations, community outreach, and social media strategy. Stephanie began her career in communications with Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael Antonovich and then Chief of Staff Kathryn Barger working as an intern before being promoted to Assistant Communications Deputy.
Stephanie graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University as a College Scholar. She also holds two Masters Degrees from Columbia University and the University of Chicago. With considerable experience in writing and editing, Stephanie had previously guest lectured at the University of Chicago Law School while completing coursework for her doctorate.
She is the Council District 7 appointee to the City of Los Angeles Equine Advisory Committee and an active member and former Chair of the San Fernando Valley Committee for the Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network (CAAAN) for Cornell University.
